Right now you are feeling called to do something more meaningful in your work.  You may have found yourself dusting off your resume and hunting for “dream jobs” online or through your networks.  Your current (or most recent) job is looking less than ideal in comparison, yet you aren’t sure where to go and how to proceed to make it all happen.

Meanwhile, maybe you…

-Aren’t sure how to pull all your passions together in a cogent way (and make it work without destabilizing your finances)

-Have been satisfying your calling through volunteering, and are eager to more closely align who you are with your 9 to 5

-Hop from interview to interview, or job to job without finding what feels like the best fit

You have so much to offer, and yet the path forward feels blurry.

You wake up most days with thoughts dancing in your head about what to do next, until the business of the day sweeps you in – and just like that, another day goes by. In the foreground, you are smart and successful – but in the background, you have this gnawing feeling that you’re meant to be doing more.

It's frustrating if you’re found yourself doing work you aren’t sure you believe in.  You may not even feel like yourself anymore, as self-doubt has slowly crept in.  You are probably wondering: If your intentions are so good, and you have so much to offer, why does it feel like you are constantly failing?

I feel you, because I have been there.  But...

I have some good news for you:

You don't have to sort out your career transition on your own.

Transitioning into meaningful work doesn’t have to be rife with hardship, loneliness and insecurity.  It can be a supportive and safe time of spaciousness, growth and self-discovery.

What you don’t need right now, is a peanut gallery of family members, friends or professionals telling you what you “should” do, or boxing you into a drop-down list of possible career options, or wordsmithing your resume to a tee.

What you do need? The support from someone who “gets” you and can guide you – who has lived this experience first-hand (ahem, more than once).  Who can help you untangle all of your thoughts, fears and excitement – so you can move forward in a safe, structured and thoughtful way.

When you have a deeper sense of understanding and knowing who you truly are and what you want, the way forward unfolds with greater clarity and confidence.  You become your own internal source of inspiration (I call this radiance... the beauty that is shining from within).  You will worry less, and will have more courage to stand on your own.

I'll help you pursue a meaningful career that is aligned with who you are and fits like a glove.

I'm Christina Meinberg, and my focus is on helping you to find the sweet spot between meaningful work and personal fulfillment (hint: It lies at the intersection of what you love, what the world needs, what you'll get paid to do, and the gifts you bring).

This 3-4 month personalized career development program includes:

A kick-off questionnaire

This helps to stimulate ideas and enhance clarity about who you are, where you currently are in your career pilgrimage, and where you want to go.

6+ one-hour phone sessions

Transitioning into meaningful work can feel like a period of time that is rife with confusion, loss and insecurity – but it doesn’t have to be.  I know the associated hardship and pitfalls.  So rather than obsessing over “What do you want to do?” (as many conventional career search approaches start with) we’ll progressively address the question “Who are you becoming?” through our work together.

A personalized coaching plan

You will engage in iterative, custom-designed self-awareness practices and exercises. Think less resume-polishing, more discovery of what makes you unique: qualities of a career that excite you, what you stand for, what your unique offering is, what your natural talents and abilities are.  You will learn to access what’s on your heart (which, as it turns out, is where charisma and magnetism radiate from).  Along the way, together we will also uncover some of the patterns and habits that have been holding you back from redefining yourself.

Putting Purpose to Work is a personalized program that brings all of who you are, to the table.

When we work together, you will feel seen and heard – all while having some structure to keep you on track, and a guide to help nurture what you are capable of.  We will excavate not only your vision (where you want to go), but also your core message (who you are and what you offer the world) – and get to the authentic truth of you.

Why I do this work

I created Putting Your Purpose to Work because it is possible to live a life in which your work self and your true self are one in the same.  A life in which you are true to yourself and feel nourished – in your heart, in your soul, and yes - in your wallet.

I created this program to spark more of this centered radiance in the world.  To teach people how to speak more from 'Presence' rather than from their fears – to practice coming from a place of deep connection, which is also where magnetism and charisma emanate.

I’m drawing on over a decade of academic, professional and deep personal growth aimed at living an integrated, mission-aligned life - and it would be an honor for me to share it with you.

Are you ready to align your work with who you really are, infusing your life with purpose, meaning, and joy?

Testimonials

My coaching clients have been smart and sensitive executives, emerging leaders with newly-minted degrees, solo-preneurs, working parents… they have gone on to work in every sector of the economy in a myriad of ways ranging from large corporations to independent work to nonprofits to consultancies to mission-oriented start-ups.   What they all share in common is a deep-seeded feeling that their time on this planet matters, and that they want to make a contribution through their work, without sacrificing their own personal fulfillment.

Here’s what a few of my former clients have said about working with me:

Christina is very insightful, open and non-judgmental. In a very short period of time, she really understood me and my issues and developed a very comprehensive and insightful coaching plan. She helped me figure out my priorities so that now my time is channeled accordingly. I now focus on most important aspects and no longer worry about small stuff. I feel more happy and stress free.”
— Lana B, Manager in a large healthcare organization
“Christina is very insightful and a receptive and perceptive listener. She’s skilled at engaging you in a productive self-discovery discussion that leads you to many ‘aha’ moments. Through our coaching sessions, I began to see opportunities to reach out within my network to involve others earlier on and to not feel like I have to do everything by myself.”
